Software Engineer (full stack)

Role: full-time, permanent.

Office: London, Hybrid working.

We build software to be used in control rooms to assist the operational running of some of the largest rail operating companies in the UK and overseas.


We are currently looking to recruit a full stack Software Engineer to join our team in London. We are looking for someone who combines technical expertise with a strong sense of user experience. Someone who can work with operational rail experts to understand their needs, and translate that into working software.


There’s a wide variety of software engineering problems that our team tackles from train telemetry, real time data, platform engineering, and analytics. This role would suit a generalist software developer who has experience covering some of the following frontend, backend, low-level comms, Linux, or cloud. It’s applied problem solving, we’re working in control rooms with expert users, helping them to keep transport running on-time.


Key Requirements/Experience/Skills:

  • Ability to understand an operational problem and solved it with software, proven experience in taking user and business needs from initial prototype to solution
  • Experience with C# .NET, and Blazor
  • Experience with live operational systems is a plus
