Software Engineer | Product Focused & Scale Up
Full Stack Software Engineer – Product-Focused B2C Scale-Up
Location: Hybrid (2–3 days per week in office)
Tech Stack: TypeScript, JavaScript
Experience: Mid-Level to Senior
We're working with a highly successful B2C technology company that has grown into a profitable global scale-up with around 200 employees. Their products are used by millions of consumers worldwide, and they continue to invest heavily in creating exceptional user experiences across web and mobile platforms.
Despite the company's size and success, the engineering organisation remains relatively lean, giving engineers the opportunity to have genuine influence over product direction, customer experience, and business outcomes.
They're looking for a Full Stack Software Engineer who enjoys working at the intersection of engineering, product, design, and customer experience.
Why Join?
- Profitable, established scale-up with strong commercial success.
- Products and features used by customers globally.
- Join a relatively small engineering team where your work has visible impact.
- Strong product-led culture with engineers deeply involved in decision-making.
- Opportunity to work across web, mobile, experimentation, and customer experience initiatives.
- Collaborative environment with close partnerships between Product, Design, Data, and Engineering.
- Hybrid working model with 2–3 days per week in the office.
The Role
This is a highly product-focused engineering position where you'll work closely with Product Managers, Designers, and Data teams to build, test, and optimise features that directly impact customer engagement and business performance.
You'll be involved throughout the entire product lifecycle, from identifying opportunities and validating ideas through to implementation, experimentation, and iteration.
Key responsibilities include:
- Building and shipping customer-facing features across web and mobile platforms.
- Collaborating closely with Product and Design teams to deliver outstanding user experiences.
- Running and analysing A/B tests to drive product improvements and customer engagement.
- Using data and customer insights to inform product decisions.
- Contributing across both frontend and backend systems.
- Taking ownership of features from conception through to launch and optimisation.
- Continuously improving product performance, usability, and conversion metrics.
What They're Looking For
- Strong commercial experience with TypeScript and JavaScript.
- Experience building full stack applications in modern web environments.
- Product-minded engineer who enjoys understanding customer problems and business outcomes.
- Experience working closely with Product Managers and Designers.
- Exposure to experimentation frameworks, A/B testing, or data-driven product development.
- Passion for creating intuitive, high-quality customer experiences.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Culture & Environment
The business has built a culture around customer obsession, experimentation, and continuous improvement. Engineers are encouraged to contribute ideas, challenge assumptions, and play an active role in shaping the product roadmap.
Rather than operating as a ticket-taking engineering team, you'll work as part of a cross-functional product organisation where technical decisions are closely aligned with customer needs and business goals.
Interested?
This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who wants to move beyond pure implementation and become deeply involved in product development, customer experience, experimentation, and feature strategy within a successful global B2C business.
