Solutions Consultant
Solutions Consultant | £75k - £85k + Bonus | Hybrid | MSP
This is a customer-facing role for someone who can combine technical security knowledge with strong communication and commercial awareness. You’ll work with customers to understand their challenges, identify appropriate solutions and help translate complex technical capabilities into practical business outcomes.
The role will involve working across a broad range of cybersecurity technologies and services, with increasing responsibility for managing opportunities from early-stage discussions through to solution definition and presentation.
What You’ll Do
- Engage with customers to understand their security challenges, priorities and existing technology environments.
- Participate in discovery meetings, workshops and technical discussions.
- Translate customer requirements into appropriate security solutions.
- Work alongside sales colleagues to qualify and progress technical opportunities.
- Develop solution concepts, technical proposals and supporting documentation.
- Prepare and deliver customer presentations and technology demonstrations.
- Assist with responses to tenders, questionnaires and formal procurement exercises.
- Explain the commercial and operational benefits of different security approaches to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Work with delivery and technical specialists to ensure proposed solutions are realistic and deliverable.
- Maintain awareness of changes within the cybersecurity market and the technologies available to customers.
- Contribute to internal knowledge sharing and help improve the team's technical sales capability.
- Provide feedback from customer conversations to help influence future services and propositions.
