Specialist Biomedical Scientist Immunology

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced HCPC registered Biomedical Scientist who has experience working in immunology. This role is based at the NNUH hub site.
The service is a core hour service where flexible working arrangements can be offered. It is expected that applicants will have completed their specialist portfolio in Immunology or Clinical Chemistry.
The successful candidate will work closely with the senior Immunology BMS staff to undertake specialist Immunology testing and reporting.
Consideration will be given to applicants who have started their portfolio with the expectation this will be completed within 2 yrs of being in post.
Please note this is a 3 year post.
The Laboratory at NNUH provides a large range of Blood Sciences services comprising Clinical Biochemistry, Haematology and Transfusion, Immunology and Toxicology.
The Eastern Pathology Alliance is formed from three Pathology Laboratories based at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital (NNUH), the James Paget University Hospital and the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Kings Lynn.
The Laboratory at NNUH provides a large range of Blood Sciences services comprising Clinical Biochemistry, Haematology and Transfusion, Immunology and Toxicology.
The Department covers a range of specialist assays including protein electrophoresis, autoimmunity and allergy testing on multiple platforms include capillary electrophoresis, gel immunofixation, immunofluorescence slide staining and immunoassay platforms.
