CHEC is launching a new NHS Community Gynaecology Service, and we're seeking an experienced Specialist Women's Health Sonographer to support us on a bank contract basis and support the organisation in delivering high-quality diagnostic services for women closer to home.

About The Role

You'll independently perform and report pelvic ultrasound examinations, supporting the investigation and diagnosis of a wide range of women's health conditions including:

• Heavy menstrual bleeding
• Pelvic pain
• Endometriosis
• Fibroids
• Adenomyosis
• Ovarian cysts
• PCOS
• Urogynaecological conditions
  
  

Working within community diagnostic pathways, you'll contribute to one-stop clinics, multidisciplinary reviews and streamlined referral pathways that improve patient experience and outcomes.

What You'll Bring

We're looking for someone who has:

• Postgraduate qualification in Medical Ultrasound
• Competency in transvaginal and transabdominal pelvic ultrasound
• Relevant professional registration (HCPC, NMC or equivalent)
• Experience reporting gynaecology ultrasound examinations
• Excellent diagnostic and communication skills
• A commitment to clinical excellence and patient care
