Specialty Reinsurance Pricing Actuary (Broker)

We are hiring for an independent broker who are looking for a Specialty Reinsurance Pricing Actuary to join their team.

This is a broad, client-facing role supporting the placement and evaluation of complex reinsurance programmes across a range of Specialty classes. The portfolio spans lines such as Marine & Energy, Financial Risks, Political Risk, Trade Credit, Crisis Management and Aviation, providing exposure to a diverse mix of clients and business lines across the London Market.

The role offers a strong blend of technical and commercial work. You'll work closely with brokers, clients and reinsurers, helping to assess portfolio risks, evaluate RI structures and support strategic decision-making. It is well suited to someone who enjoys applying actuarial thinking in a highly commercial environment and wants to be closer to the market-facing side of the industry.

This role would suit a Specialty Pricing Actuary (insurance or reinsurance) with c.2-4 years PQE, particularly someone looking to broaden their exposure, strengthen their commercial skills and join a business known for its culture and collaborative way of working.
