Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Senior Solution Architect at Colate. The Senior Solution Architect will design end-to-end solutions across Colate’s product portfolio, aligning technology architectures with client business objectives and operational requirements. This role will involve leading technical discovery sessions, creating reference architectures, defining integration patterns, and producing high-level and detailed design documents. The architect will collaborate with engineering, product, and operations teams to guide solution implementation, provide technical leadership during delivery, and ensure scalability, reliability, and security of client environments. Day-to-day responsibilities include advising clients on best practices, conducting architecture reviews, supporting pre-sales solution design, and continuously improving solution patterns for AI-native and cloud-native platforms.
Qualifications

The architect will collaborate with engineering, product, and operations teams to guide solution implementation, provide technical leadership during delivery, and ensure scalability, reliability, and security of client environments. Day-to-day responsibilities include advising clients on best practices, conducting architecture reviews, supporting pre-sales solution design, and continuously improving solution patterns for AI-native and cloud-native platforms.
Qualifications
- Strong Solution Architecture experience, including designing end-to-end architectures, reference models, and patterns for complex, cloud-native and AI-enabled environments.
- Background in Consulting, with experience leading client workshops, gathering requirements, influencing stakeholders, and translating business needs into actionable technical roadmaps.
- Proficiency in Software Development practices, with hands-on understanding of modern languages, APIs, microservices, DevOps, and CI/CD to guide implementation teams effectively.
- Experience in Integration, including designing and implementing integration patterns, APIs, event-driven architectures, and secure data flows across heterogeneous systems.
- Understanding of Business Process analysis and design, including mapping current and target processes, defining operational workflows, and aligning solutions with measurable outcomes.
- Deep knowledge of cloud platforms (such as AWS, Azure, or GCP), Kubernetes, and platform engineering concepts; experience with identity, security, and infrastructure automation is highly valued.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills, with the ability to work effectively in distributed, cross-functional teams and mentor other technical contributors.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
