Stroke Clinical Nurse Specialist (Band 6)

We are seeking a motivated, experienced and compassionate Band 6 Stroke Coordinator / Stroke Nurse Specialist to join our dedicated stroke team at Airedale General Hospital.

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled practitioner with a passion for stroke care to play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality, patient-centred services across the Trust.

• Ensure that appropriate professional, legal and statutory requirements are complied with and that agreed Trust policies and procedures are implemented in an informal manner.
• Participate in working groups, professional advisory committees as and when necessary, whilst ensuring professional nursing standards are maintained in accordance with NMC Code of Professional Conduct.
• Demonstrate clinical and professional leadership skills enabling multi professional culture of continuous staff learning and practice development.
• Demonstrate creativity, energy and inspiration in motivating others.
• Participate in clinical supervision.
• Maintain links with the Cardiac/Stroke networks regarding new practices.
• Evaluate new evidence to determine relevance and amend practice if appropriate.
