Job Description
This is a rewarding role where you'll work closely with tenants from the very start of their housing journey, from attending viewings and signing up tenancies, through to providing ongoing support throughout their tenancy. You'll help people establish themselves in their new homes, access benefits and services, manage their finances, and explore employment opportunities where appropriate.
Working under the direction of the Town Hall Lettings Manager, you'll also support the administrative side of tenancy management, including preparing tenancy agreements and notices, ensuring all documentation is accurate and compliant with current legislation.
You'll develop positive working relationships with tenants, landlords, support agencies and colleagues across the Council. The ability to build trust, communicate effectively and work collaboratively with a range of people is key to success in this role.
About You
You'll have experience of working with people who may be vulnerable or have experienced homelessness, along with a good understanding of housing-related support. A vast knowledge of renters' rights, housing legislation and local support services would be beneficial.

The sucessful candidate will be require travel around Cambridge and be be subjset to an Enhanced DBS
Hours: This is a full-time role, for 37 hours per week.
Working Pattern: 5 Days
Contract: Fixed Term/ Secondment - 7 months – end of march 2027 intially, with a possible extension
Salary: £32,597- £36,363 per annum (City Pay Band 4), pro rata for part time.
Location: This is flexible – working in Cambridge on site or at one of our offices or working from home. You will be able to balance your work location accordingly.
