About The Company

Technology has revolutionised the world we live in, yet somehow the rail industry has stayed much the same as it was 30 years ago. Seatfrog is here to change that.

We're on a mission to build a better future for billions of passengers and the rail companies that carry them. We've already reinvented how upgrading your seat is done - now affordable and lightning fast to over 870 destinations - and enabled customers to effortlessly swap between train journeys. But we're not stopping there! We're on our way to becoming the ultimate travel companion and the only app you'll ever need when travelling by rail in the UK and beyond.

We’re building a stellar team to achieve our audacious goals. We strive to create an environment where you can do your best work. Join us, and you’ll be challenged and supported in equal measure. Ours is a culture with spirit and substance and our people are empowered to make the bold decisions others wouldn’t and haven't.

General Expression of Interest

Salary Band: Role-dependent

This isn't an application for a specific vacancy. It's a way to get on our radar. We're growing, and new roles come up across Product, Engineering, Marketing, Commercial, and People that aren't always live at the moment you're looking. If that sounds like you, we'd like to know you exist before we need you.

Submitting your CV here means we can hold onto it, get a sense of the great people out there, and come back to you directly when something suitable opens up.

The Kind Of People We're Looking For

We're less interested in ticking every box on a specific spec, and more interested in how you work. Across every team at Seatfrog, we look for people who are:

  • Scale up experience: you've worked in a fast growing scale up environment, ideally within a B2B or B2C consumer app, and you know firsthand how priorities and processes shift as a business grows.
  • Proactive – you spot what needs doing and get on with it, rather than waiting to be asked.
  • Collaborative – you build with others, seek out feedback, and know the best outcomes come from working across teams, not around them.
  • Able to move at speed – you're comfortable in a fast-paced, fluid environment, and you'd rather test and iterate than wait for certainty.
  • Resilient – things change, priorities shift, and you handle that with a level head and a sense of humour.
  • Willing to push boundaries – best practice isn't good enough for us; you're creative about solving problems in ways that haven't been tried before.
  • Fluent with AI – you use AI tools naturally and creatively in your day-to-day work, and you're comfortable exploring how they can make you and the people around you faster, sharper, and more effective. We're not looking for AI as a buzzword on a CV; we're looking for people already thinking this way.

What's On Offer

  • An outstanding team culture, where we solve problems together to drive the best possible results
  • A competitive salary and equity
  • A 4-day working week to ensure the best possible work/life blend
  • Private healthcare plan, with added gym discounts and incentives
  • A benefits package that includes salary sacrifice childcare benefit, enhanced parental leave, electric car leasing scheme, and free upgrades with our rail partners
  • Engaging, all-expenses-paid monthly team days to connect and collaborate
  • We're currently taking a flexible approach to where our team works. We have a great office in Shoreditch should you wish to use it, but we welcome people from across the UK, remote-first, and just ask that you join the monthly team meet-ups to connect and collaborate as a wider team.

Our recruitment process

Because this is a talent pool rather than a live vacancy, there isn't a fixed process to walk you through yet. If a role comes up that we think could be a fit for you, we'll reach out directly, and at that point we'll explain exactly what the process for that specific role looks like, so you know what to expect before you commit any time to it.

A few honest things to flag

We won't be in touch unless a role comes up that we think is a good fit for you. We know that's not the instant response everyone wants, but we'd rather reach out when we mean it than send generic updates with nothing behind them.

If you spot a live role advertised by us after you've already submitted your CV here, please do apply directly to that role, or drop us a message to flag your interest. Being in our talent pool doesn't automatically enter you into consideration for roles we publish separately, so don't rely on us to make that connection for you.

What To Expect When You Click Apply

We'll ask a series of questions to help us understand your suitability for future roles, covering your right to work in the UK, your location, your salary expectations or needs, your notice period, whether you're open to freelance or only permanent work, a copy of your CV, and a longer written answer on why you applied to Seatfrog and what excites you about us. If you're in a role where a portfolio or body of work is relevant, such as Product Design, there will be a space to share a link to it.

At Seatfrog, we consider diversity a strength. Inclusion fuels our ability to solve problems we never thought we could. Your application will be considered on its merits, without regard to your race, age, gender, religion, sexual orientation, disability status, or anything else. If there is anything we need to know to enable you to fully participate in our process, please just let us know.

By submitting this application, I agree that my personal data will be collected, processed, and retained by the company solely for the purposes of managing and assessing my candidacy.
