Tar Manager

Engenda are currently looking for a Tar Manager to join the Engenda team in Runcorn, working on a shutdown on a chemical site scheduled for April next year.
You will be responsible for the management and delivery of the Turnaround, working with both ourselves and the client on site to deliver the best possible out come.
You need experience managing shutdowns on Top Tier Comah sites, or experience working in the senior management team on big petrochem projects.
This position is open to Outside IR35 Limited contractors, CIS self employed or people looking for on the books PAYE contracts.
You will be working a flat week on the run up to the shutdown with hours ramping up as we get closer to the event.
You will:
- Take overall responsibility for shutdown activities from pre-planning through to completion
- Coordinate multiple contractors, trades and site teams
- Work closely with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, HSE and Project teams
- Manage contractor performance, productivity and resource levels
- Ensure all work is carried out safely and in line with site procedures and relevant legislation
- Maintain clear communication between management, supervisors, contractors and the client
- Ensure quality standards are maintained throughout the shutdown
- Lead the close out process, including outstanding works, reporting and lessons learned
