Role Purpose
The Chrysalis Programme is a multi-year programme transforming Leigh Day's technology, processes and ways or working. We are currently 18 months into transforming Leigh Day's core business systems through the implementation of Elite 3E, Clio Operate and SharePoint, alongside significant process redesign, integration, data migration, testing and departmental onboarding activity. The programme is currently delivering multiple parallel workstreams, including Elite go-live preparations, Clio Operate departmental rollouts and SharePoint implementation.
As the volume of analysis, process mapping, requirements gathering, testing support, integration design and onboarding activity continues to increase, and so additional Technical Business Analysis capability is required to reduce bottlenecks, accelerate delivery and mitigate programme risk.
The Technical Business Analyst will work across business and technical teams to define requirements, design processes, support system configuration, coordinate testing and help departments transition successfully to new ways of working.

Key Responsibilities
Business Analysis & Process Design
- Facilitate discovery and requirements workshops with business stakeholders.
- Document business, functional and technical requirements.
- Produce user stories and solution specifications.
- Support process redesign and standardisation across departments.
- Maintain requirements traceability throughout delivery.
- Support solution design across Clio Operate, Elite 3E and SharePoint.
- Assist with integration design, data mapping and migration activities.
- Work with vendors, developers and internal technical teams to translate business requirements into workable solutions.
- Document system interfaces, workflows and technical requirements.
- Support with various reporting work.
- Create and manage UAT scripts and test scenarios.
- Coordinate user testing and defect management activities.
- Support end-to-end integration testing.
- Assist with go-live planning, readiness assessments and post-implementation support.
- Support departmental discovery, playback sessions and onboarding activities.
- Work closely with change, training and communications teams to prepare users for new systems and processes.
- Provide guidance and support during deployment and stabilisation periods.
This Role Will
- Support parallel workstreams across Clio Operate, Elite 3E and SharePoint.
- Accelerate departmental discovery, configuration, testing and onboarding activities.
- Reduce analysis and delivery bottlenecks.
- Increase resilience during annual leave and peak delivery periods.
- Improve coordination between business, technical and supplier teams.
- Reduce programme delays caused by resource constraints.
- Support successful delivery of the Chrysalis Programme.
Skills & Experience
- Experience with legal or professional services systems.
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst or Technical Business Analyst on large transformation programmes.
- Strong requirements gathering and stakeholder management skills.
- Knowledge of system integrations, data migration and testing.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent documentation and communication skills.
- Knowledge of Elite 3E, Clio Operate, SharePoint or similar enterprise platforms.
- Experience of end-to-end system implementation and business change programmes.
- Power BI, SQL, API knowledge.
