We are seeking a commercially astute, technically confident Technical Solutions Consultant to join our Professional Services team. This is an end-to-end ownership role.
Whilst you won’t be responsible for writing integration code or developing custom features yourself, you will be accountable for:

We are seeking a commercially astute, technically confident Technical Solutions Consultant to join our Professional Services team. This is an end-to-end ownership role.
Whilst you won’t be responsible for writing integration code or developing custom features yourself, you will be accountable for:
- Integration discovery and delivery
- Interface specification and governance
- Single Sign-On (SSO) implementation
- Engagement with Engineering to drive customer-specific custom development
- Cross-functional coordination across Product and Engineering
- Scope control and commercial protection
Key Responsibilities
Customer Discovery & Technical Scoping
- Lead technical discovery workshops at project initiation.
- Define and challenge requirements across APIs, finance systems (AP/AR), ERP, procurement, HR, reporting platforms, and CAFM-to-CAFM integrations.
- Act as both consultant and business analyst to refine and clarify requirements.
- Identify risks, constraints, and dependencies early.
- Define clear scope boundaries and measurable acceptance criteria.
- Produce detailed, engineering-ready Interface Control Documents covering:
- Field-to-field mappings
- Data transformation logic and business rules
- Integration frequency and transport mechanisms
- One-way or bi-directional data flows
- Authentication and security requirements
- Error handling and reconciliation processes
- Ensure documentation is technically precise and unambiguous.
- Secure formal customer sign-off before development begins
- Where customer-specific development is agreed you will own the full lifecycle
- Conduct detailed scoping to define functional and technical specifications.
- Establish clear, measurable acceptance criteria.
- Raise and manage requirements with Product.
- Collaborate with Product to shape user stories and ensure completeness.
- Ensure requirements are fully understood before Engineering engagement.
- Secure clear delivery timelines and commitments from Engineering.
- Maintain governance over build progress and delivery milestones.
- Coordinate internal testing and validation.
- Ensure controlled deployment into customer environments.
- Manage UAT and secure formal customer sign-off.
- You remain accountable from initial agreement through to successful delivery.
- Act as the bridge between Customer, Professional Services, Product, and Engineering.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Ensure Engineering fully understands scope, assumptions, and acceptance criteria.
- Maintain structured communication and delivery visibility across stakeholders.
- Proactively manage risks and dependencies
- Oversee API-based integration build, testing, and deployment.
- Support API validation and configuration (e.g. using Postman).
- Lead Single Sign-On implementations (SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect).
- Ensure integrations meet security and data protection standards.
- Remain accountable through go-live and early-life support.
- Review and improve existing integrations and technical solutions.
- Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency gains.
- Leverage low-code/no-code platforms (e.g. Power Automate, Zapier or similar) where appropriate.
- Maintain strong commercial awareness across all engagements.
- Ensure scope is clearly documented and formally agreed.
- Enforce structured change control for deviations.
- Provide revised estimates where required.
- Protect delivery margin and ensure accountability for agreed outcomes.
- Support troubleshooting and resolution of integration or custom development issues.
- Maintain ownership until formal acceptance and sign-off are secured.
- Ensure stable, sustainable delivery before transition or closure.
- 3+ years’ experience in system integration, technical consulting, business analysis, or similar.
- Strong understanding of APIs, RESTful services, data transformation, and integration architecture.
- Experience producing detailed technical specifications and acceptance criteria.
- Experience implementing Single Sign-On solutions.
- Experience integrating finance or ERP systems (including AP/AR processes).
- Strong stakeholder and matrix management capability.
- Experience working cross-functionally with Product and Engineering teams.
- Commercial awareness with experience managing scope and change control.
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams in an agile environment.
- Experience working within a SaaS or CAFM environment.
