Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Temenos Transact (T24) Upgrade Consultant to lead and support a large-scale upgrade program from R1x to R25 TAFJ. The consultant will own upgrade assessment, remediation governance, customization impact analysis, testing support, implementation readiness, and post-go-live stabilization. The role requires strong knowledge of Temenos architecture, upgrade methodologies, and technical frameworks across Transact modules.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end Temenos Transact upgrade activities for the R1x to R25 TAFJ program.
• Perform upgrade impact assessments and identify remediation requirements for local developments and customizations.
• Analyze and remediate impacted components including:
• Version routines
• EB APIs
• Java routines
• Enquiries
• Browser components
• OFS interfaces
• Batch jobs
• Reports
• Integration components
• Review and resolve L3 customizations to ensure compatibility with R25 architecture and standards.
• Support technical and functional teams during code remediation, testing, deployment, and post-upgrade stabilization.
• Conduct code reviews and provide recommendations aligned with Temenos for best practices.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, and application teams during migration and modernization activities.
• Participate in upgrade planning workshops, design reviews, defect triage and production readiness assessments.
• Mentor junior consultants and provide technical guidance throughout the upgrade lifecycle.
• Prepare technical documentation, upgrade runbooks, remediation reports, and implementation recommendations.

Required Skills & Experience

• 10+ years of experience in Temenos Transact implementation, customization, support, or upgrade projects.
• Mandatory experience in at least one major Transact upgrade project, preferably from R1x/R17/R18 to R24/R25.
• Strong understanding of Temenos Upgrade Methodology, upgrade tools, and remediation processes.
• Deep knowledge of TAFJ architecture and Java-based Transact development.
• Extensive experience with L3 customizations, local developments, routines, APIs, enquiries, versions, services, batch processing and integrations.
• Experience in post-go-live support, defect triage, production issue analysis, and stabilization activities.
• Familiarity with AA, TPH, IRIS, and related platform capabilities.
• Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and performance analysis skills.

Preferred Skills

• Preferred exposure to OCI, Azure, DevOps, CI/CD, Docker/Kubernetes, Linux/Unix and cloud-native deployment models.

Preferred Certifications / Training

• Temenos Upgrade Certification or Temenos Transact Technical Certification preferred.
