Core Responsibilities:

  • Design and architect test automation frameworks and strategies that scale across multiple applications and technology stacks
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive test automation code, ensuring high code quality, reusability, and maintainability
  • Build and execute automated test suites covering functional, integration, performance, and end-to-end scenarios
  • Collaborate with development and product teams to define quality criteria, acceptance testing strategies, and automation roadmaps
  • Evaluate and implement test automation tools, frameworks, and technologies to optimize testing efficiency and coverage
  • Establish best practices, coding standards, and documentation for test automation across teams
  • Mentor junior QA engineers on automation techniques, design patterns, and quality engineering principles
  • Identify and troubleshoot test automation issues, including flaky tests, false positives, and performance bottlenecks
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives in test coverage, execution time, and testing efficiency.


Required Skills & Experience:

  • 7+ years of hands-on test automation experience with proficiency in at least one object-oriented programming language (Java, C#, Python, or similar)
  • Strong expertise with modern test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, or equivalent)
  • Demonstrated ability to design and architect scalable automation solutions from the ground up
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and integration of automated tests into continuous deployment workflows
  • Solid understanding of QA methodologies, test strategy, and quality metrics
  • Knowledge of API testing tools and techniques (REST, GraphQL, SOAP)
  • Version control proficiency (Git) and familiarity with agile development practices
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to debug complex issues independently
  • Excellent documentation and communication skills.
