Responsibilities
- Manage all testing workstreams for a large multi-year program
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of card processing, transactions, and the Payments processing life cycle
- Lead a team of test resources and provide mentorship
- Experience on leading onshore/offshore QA teams
- Communicate effectively with senior stakeholders for status updates, conflict management, technical discussions, and project clarifications
- Utilize your expertise in applications/systems like Portals, ETL/ODI/EDM, switching technologies (BASE24, BRIDGE), and POS terminals
- Use your strong grasp of project metrics to influence senior stakeholders
Requirements:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in a Test Manager role
- Proven accountability for planning, deploying, and managing the testing effort for multiple projects/programs simultaneously
- Experience coordinating with project leads to facilitate project testing efforts across multiple applications
- Thorough understanding of testing processes and best practices
- Domain expertise in Cards and Payments, including Merchant Acquiring
- Experience managing and mentoring distributed teams consisting of permanent and supplier test resources
- Experience supporting multiple phase of project with estimation, planning, and strategy for testing Fiserv projects and programs
- Ability to manage all QA phases for a project, including Test Planning, Test Design, Test Execution, and Test Closure
- Strong adherence to QA best practices and ability to drive quality across project delivery
- Proven ability to lead initiatives to improve test processes, tools, and frameworks, and develop team members for improved efficiency
- Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to lead stakeholder discussions, defect management, and status reporting
- Ability to coordinate the request and use of test environments for systems across the estate
- Experience ensuring adherence to change management for testing-related scope changes
- Proven experience in managing and being accountable for the project/program testing budget
- Ability to work closely with Project/Program Managers on risk and issue mitigation and management
- Thorough understanding and enforcement of Quality Stage Gates and acceptance criteria
