Role: Transport & Logistics Coordinator

Location: Southampton

Office based | Full time

SIVA Group is looking for a Transport & Logistics Coordinator to join our Southampton team.

This is a central role in the business, working closely with Customer Services, Planning, Sales, Warehousing and Transport to coordinate despatches from our warehouses to customers across the UK and EU.

The role will involve:

• Arranging UK and EU shipments

• Managing goods in and goods out schedules

• Coordinating multi-drop deliveries

• Booking in customer deliveries

• Creating advance shipping notices, delivery notes and transport paperwork

• Liaising with customers, hauliers, warehouses and internal teams

• Checking supplier invoices and resolving queries

• Supporting the wider business to ensure deliveries are planned, communicated and completed properly

• Helping improve transport visibility, service levels and overall despatch discipline

We need someone who is organised, calm under pressure and quick to respond.

The right person will have:

• Ideally previous experience in transport, logistics, despatch or supply chain coordination

• An understanding of MRP / ERP systems

• Strong Excel skills

• Attention to detail

• Excellent telephone manner

• Clear communication skills

• Ability to work at pace and manage several priorities at once

• A practical, hands-on attitude

• Confidence dealing with customers, suppliers and internal teams

This is a busy, important role for someone who likes being at the centre of the action and making sure things happen properly.
