Underwriter - Portfolio Solutions

Eames are working exclusively with a leading Lloyd’s Syndicate who are seeking an Underwriter to join their Portfolio Solutions team in London.

This is a unique opportunity to join a growing underwriting platform focused on delegated authority business across consortia, MGA partnerships and broker facilities. Working across multiple lines of business, you'll assess opportunities through a combination of underwriting judgement, portfolio analysis and data-driven decision making, reviewing pricing, terms and conditions, underwriting guidelines and portfolio performance data to support commercial underwriting decisions.

We are keen to speak with underwriters who possess strong numerical and analytical capabilities, with experience in delegated authority, portfolio underwriting or portfolio performance viewed favourably. Candidates should be comfortable interpreting complex data sets and translating insights into commercial underwriting decisions. A degree in mathematics, statistics, economics, engineering, physics or a related quantitative discipline would be highly advantageous.
