Do you have an interest in culture, heritage and history? Would you like to be part of the visitor services team at one of Norfolk's best loved museums and visitor attractions?

We are looking to recruit an outgoing and confident individual to join our friendly visitor services team at Gressenhall Farm and Workhouse, 37 hours per week in a shift pattern during the open season. Working in a customer focused environment, you will welcome the public to the museum, woodland play area and farm, ensuring that visitors get the most enjoyment and site engagement from their visit.

Regular duties are varied but will include selling admission tickets, memberships and retail items, responsibility for cash handling and reconciliation, adhering to health & safety and security policy, keeping the museum clean and working on our period farm. You will be expected to deliver strong customer service, to promote and help deliver the museum’s events and activity programmes and to interact with groups and schools visiting, on occasion leading activities.

This is a varied and rewarding position. As part of a passionate and dedicated team, you will have experience of working in a customer-facing environment to offer a high level of customer care, teamworking, flexibility, efficiency and enthusiasm.

The rota worked covers a 7day week in a shift pattern, including regular weekend and bank holiday working for which an enhancement is payable. Occasional evening work may also be required.
