We are looking for dedicated and compassionate volunteers to join our team supporting people affected by drug and alcohol use.

Make a Difference in Your Community

As a Harm Reduction & Recovery Support Volunteer, you will play a vital role in helping individuals stay safe, access support, and move towards recovery.

No two days are the same, this is a rewarding opportunity to gain experience, build skills, and make a real impact in your local community.

What You Will Be Doing

• Providing non-judgmental advice and support around substance use and harm reduction
• Supporting needle and syringe programmes and promoting safe use practices
• Delivering overdose awareness and naloxone training
• Engaging with individuals in services and the community
• Promoting HIV and Hepatitis testing and safer sexual health options
• Encouraging people to access treatment and recovery services
• Assisting with outreach work and community engagement
• Supporting the team with assessments, risk management, and recovery planning
• Helping maintain a safe environment, including safe disposal of used equipment
