Are you passionate about making a real difference in your community? Do you want to help create a safer, more supportive environment for people affected by drug use? Join Change Grow Live as a Recovery Support Volunteer.

  • Be the first point of contact, greeting visitors with warmth and respect.
  • Support our recovery coordinators in delivering harm reduction interventions around drug, alcohol and substance use
  • Provide non-judgmental advice on safer use, including reduction and drink down plans
  • Complete Breathalyzer testing, urine drug screening and recording results
  • Completing BBV testing
  • Provide information to our service users of mutual aid support groups i.e. AA, SMART recovery groups
  • Supporting our service users in attending nurse alcohol assessments and healthcare reviews
  • Supporting the team in case management, recording notes on our case management system
  • Supporting our service users in meeting their support plans, working towards their future goals and aspirations
