Warhammer World Store and Events Manager
Nottingham, England, United Kingdom Full-time Posted 1 hour ago
About The Job
Games Workshop is looking for an experienced Retail and Events Manager in Nottingham to lead the Warhammer World Store and Events teams, managing 24 people and leading the team responsible for sales, events and the Warhammer World customer experience.
Warhammer World is not an ordinary retail environment, and this is not an ordinary management role. Your job is simple to describe, but challenging to deliver: lead the people and operations delivering a great experience for everyone visiting Warhammer World.
You’ll lead a large team that won’t always be working together in the same place, so clear plans, good communication and a collaborative approach will be important. You’ll help your team understand what they are working towards, give them the support and development they need to succeed, and create an environment where everyone can contribute to giving our customers a great experience.
A big part of your role will be improving staff performance. You’ll review, coach and develop your team, helping them build the skills and behaviours they need to succeed. You’ll keep standards high, recognise when something needs to change and take action when it does.
Ultimately, your goal is to grow sales by leading both teams well. That means helping new customers discover Warhammer, giving existing hobbyists reasons to keep exploring, and delivering exciting activities and events that bring the hobby to life.
To do that well, you’ll need to be organised, adaptable and confident leading a large team in a busy environment. You’ll keep people focused, support your staff and make sure customers continue to have a great experience.
If you want to lead the team that helps make Warhammer World such a special place for our customers, we’d love to hear from you.
