Role Description
An opportunity has arisen for work experience at the Psychology Service based within the South Westminster Community Mental Health Hub at 190 Vauxhall Bridge Road, London, SW1V.
Our service primarily supports individuals experiencing severe and complex mental health difficulties, including psychosis and personality disorders, within a diverse community
The role is predominantly administrative, supporting the referral process, waiting list management, and database maintenance. The post holder will work closely with Psychologists to ensure accurate record-keeping, data auditing, and service evaluati
o.

Regular supervision will be provided by a Counselling Psychologist, alongside opportunities to learn from the wider Psychology and Multidisciplinary
tam.
Key Respon
sibilties:
1. Assist, under the direct supervision of a qualified Psychologist, in reviewing and auditing referrals and managing waiting lists on a
weeklybasis.
2. Update, maintain, and cross-reference clinical records and databases to e
nsure acuracy.
3. Undertake data collection, analysis, and summary reporting for audits and se
rvice evluation.
4. Liaise with the Psychology team regarding waiting lists and referrals, providing
necessar updates.
5. Perform specific administrative duties, including organising and managing
clinical iformation.
6. Attend regular team and professional meeti
ngs, where ppropriate.
7. Support brief training for new staff on the use of databases and accurate re
cording of cinical
data.
Essenial Criteria:
- A minimum of a 2:1 Honours degree in Psychology with BPS Graduate
Basis for Chatership (GBC).
- Previous experience in a ment
al health settig is desirable.
- Experience in updating and managing databases using Excel an
d Clinical Recors is preferable.
- Ability to commit
to the role for t least 6 months.
