Make an Impact at RSM

We are looking for a Workday Cutover Lead to join RSM UK on a 9-month FTC. This role will be accountable for planning, leading and controlling the successful transition from existing systems to new systems across a complex enterprise applications environment.

The role will establish and manage the cutover strategy, detailed runbooks, readiness criteria, control approach, stakeholder engagement and execution governance required to deliver a controlled go-live with minimal disruption to business operations.

Following successful cutover, the role will also establish the timetable for controlled decommissioning of legacy systems, ensuring appropriate business, technical, data, audit and operational controls are in place before retirement.

Key Deliverables

  • Cutover strategy, governance model and integrated cutover plan
  • Detailed cutover runbooks, dependency maps and command-and-control procedures
  • Stakeholder readiness, resource availability and decision-point tracking
  • Mock cutover planning, execution and lessons learned
  • Go/No-Go readiness recommendations and executive status reporting
  • Hypercare transition plan and legacy system decommissioning plan
  • Mock Cutover, Rehearsal & Execution Control
  • Go-Live, Hypercare & Service Transition
  • Legacy System Decommissioning
  • Governance, Reporting & Stakeholder Management

You'll make an impact by

  • Identifying, tracking and managing cross-project dependencies, resource constraints, stakeholder availability and critical path risks that could affect cutover success
  • Coordinating readiness inputs across testing, data migration, integration, security, infrastructure, business change, service transition and support teams
  • Maintaining clear visibility of outstanding decisions, blockers, dependencies and ownership, escalating where stakeholder or contributor time is constrained
  • Preparing readiness assessments and Go/No-Go recommendations for programme and senior stakeholder forums
