Band 6 £39,959 - £48,117 per annum
Hours: 37.5 per week, all MKUH roles will be considered for flexible working
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Workforce Information Team at Milton Keynes University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust for a Workforce Information Analyst.
This is a key role within the Workforce Directorate, supporting the production, assurance and continuous improvement of workforce information across ESR, rostering, Business Intelligence and other approved workforce systems.
The post holder will analyse, interpret and present complex workforce data to support local, regional and national reporting requirements, workforce planning, performance monitoring and operational decision-making.
The role will lead on the development and maintenance of accurate, refreshable and well-documented workforce reports, dashboards and assurance checks, using tools such as ESR Reporting, advanced Excel, Power Query, Business Intelligence platforms and approved AI-enabled functionality where appropriate.
We are looking for someone with strong analytical, technical reporting and data quality skills, with experience of extracting, manipulating and interpreting large and complex workforce datasets.

Working in the Workforce Directorate, the post holder will be responsible for the production, assurance and continuous improvement of workforce information for MKUH. The role supports accurate, consistent and well-governed workforce reporting across ESR, rostering, Business Intelligence and other approved workforce systems, in line with Trust information governance and data protection requirements
The post holder will analyse, present and interpret workforce information to support local, regional and national reporting requirements, workforce planning and operational decision-making. Outputs will be clear, accurate and accessible, with appropriate quality checks and supporting documentation so they can be maintained by authorised colleagues
Identify gaps and develop local workforce analytical, forecasting and planning tools to support the effective use of ESR and other approved workforce systems in monitoring Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), workforce trends and future workforce requirements
Maintain ESR and workforce data integrity through regular validation, quality assurance, organisational change updates and the appropriate application of security protocols
