We’re looking for a strategic YouTube expert to join Jungle Creations as a YouTube Channel Manager (Sports / Entertainment).
Working at the intersection of content, audience growth, data and culture, this role is responsible for defining channel strategy, shaping content direction and driving sustainable audience growth across a portfolio of sports, entertainment and talent-led properties.
Partnering with creatives, editors, strategists and insight specialists, the YouTube Channel Manager will turn audience behaviour and platform insights into high-performing content strategies that maximise reach, watch time, engagement and revenue.
From archive-led programming and original content franchises to Shorts ecosystems and live moments, this role requires someone who understands how to transform content into a thriving media property.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record growing and monetising YouTube channels within sports, entertainment, broadcast, creator or publisher environments, alongside a deep understanding of audience behaviour, content packaging and YouTube's evolving ecosystem.

Experience & Skills
- 5+ years' experience managing and growing YouTube channels within sports, entertainment, creator, publisher or media environments.
- Proven track record delivering audience growth, engagement and channel performance improvements.
- Deep understanding of YouTube's algorithm, audience development principles and platform best practices.
- Extensive experience developing YouTube-first content strategies in sports and entertainment spaces.
- Strong understanding of content packaging, including thumbnails, titles and audience retention techniques.
- Experience using YouTube Studio and other performance measurement tools to drive decision-making.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple channels and stakeholders simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Highly organised, proactive and comfortable operating in fast-paced environments.
Content & Performance Optimisation
- Shape YouTube-first content strategies that maximise monetisation, discoverability, engagement and audience retention.
- Lead channel programming, scheduling and publishing operations.
- Provide guidance on content packaging, including thumbnails, titles, metadata and audience retention strategies.
- Establish testing frameworks across formats, publishing strategies and creative approaches.
- Use performance data and audience insights to continuously optimise channel performance.
- Identify opportunities to maximise value from archive content, live moments and cultural conversations.
- Collaborate with creatives, editors, producers, strategists and social teams to deliver best-in-class content.
- Create clarity around channel priorities, publishing plans and performance objectives.
- Provide guidance and feedback throughout the content development process.
- Act as a senior point of expertise on YouTube growth, audience behaviour and platform best practice.
- Foster a culture of experimentation, learning and continuous improvement.
- Lead client workshops, reporting sessions and strategic conversations.
- Act as the primary YouTube expert, helping clients understand platform opportunities and channel performance.
- Work closely with strategy, production, creative and social teams to ensure YouTube thinking is embedded from the outset.
- Identify opportunities to strengthen partnerships, grow accounts and unlock new commercial opportunities.
- Champion audience-first, YouTube-native thinking across the wider business.
