Assistant Data Protection Officer
Bott and Co Solicitors is looking for an Assistant Data Protection Officer to join our Digital & Information Security team.
£35,000–£40,000 + 10% Bonus | Permanent | Full-time | Wilmslow / Hybrid

- 🔐 Data protection and SARs/DSARs
- 📋 Information governance and the Record of Processing Activities
- 🗂️ Data retention and deletion
- 🛡️ Our Information Security Management System (ISMS)
- 🔎 Risk assessments and information security incidents
- 🤝 Supplier security reviews
- 📑 Policies, records and audit evidence
- ISO 27001 and audit preparation
- 🎓 Staff information security awareness
We're looking for someone who is organised, analytical, detail-focused and keen to learn. Proven experience in data protection, GDPR, information governance, ISO 27001 or information security would be advantageous for this role.
This is a permanent position with the opportunity to develop specialist skills in an increasingly important area of a growing law firm.
