Internal Job Title: Assistant Principal - SENDCo and Inclusion

Strategic Direction and Development

Provide dynamic instructional leadership and management by sharing and modelling the school's vision and values in everyday work and practice.

Lead on the creation and implementation of a strategic plan which identifies priorities and targets for ensuring that students achieve high standards and make progress, increasing teachers’ effectiveness and securing school improvement.

Assume full responsibility of the SENDCO across the school.

Lead the strategic development of SEND provision and inclusive practice across the school.

Ensure that all those involved in the school are committed to its aims, motivated to achieve them and involved in meeting long, medium- and short-term objectives and targets which secure the educational success of the school.

Make decisions based upon analysis, interpretation and understanding of relevant data and information.

Perform other duties determined in discussion with the Principal.

You will have:

A degree-level qualification and Qualified Teacher Status

Experience of effective management of a high-achieving faculty

Experience of sustained delivery of outstanding attainment and achievement
