The successful candidate will also work closely with adjacent teams and across the wider firm, supporting clients on complex and often novel issues at the intersection of law, regulation and energy markets.
About the Commercial & Regulatory Sub-team

- Energy offtake and route‑to‑market arrangements, including corporate, utility and private wire PPAs, as well as complex battery optimisation structures and ancillary services agreements
- Government support schemes and market mechanisms, including Contracts for Difference (CfDs), the Capacity Market, legacy schemes such as the Renewables Obligation and Feed‑in Tariff, REGOs, and the LDES and interconnector cap‑and‑floor regimes
- Energy regulation, including legislative frameworks, licence conditions, industry codes, price controls and ongoing compliance matters
