Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced AWS Developer with hands-on expertise in AWS cloud-native application development and the AWS-powered AI development platform, Kiro. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable cloud applications while leveraging Kiro's spec-driven development capabilities, AI agents, and automated engineering workflows to accelerate software delivery and improve code quality. Kiro is AWS's agentic IDE focused on specification-driven development and AI-assisted software engineering.

Key Responsibilities

AWS Development

• Design and develop cloud-native applications on Amazon Web Services.
• Build serverless and microservices-based architectures.
• Develop APIs using Java, Python, Node.js, or .NET.
• Implement event-driven solutions using AWS services.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, security, and cost.

Kiro-Driven Development

• Utilize Kiro for specification-driven software development.
• Create and manage:
• Requirements specifications
• Technical design documents
• Implementation task plans
• Automated testing workflows
• Leverage AI agents for:
• Code generation
• Refactoring
• Test creation
• Documentation generation
• Code reviews
• Implement Kiro steering rules, hooks, and AI-assisted development practices.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to establish AI-assisted SDLC standards.
