Azure DevOps Engineer (APIM & Terraform)

£500 to £600 per day - outside IR35

Fully Remote

We are looking to hire an experienced Azure Infrastructure / DevOps Engineer on a fully remote, outside-IR35 contract.

This is a hands-on delivery role focused on building Azure environments, with Azure APIM and Terraform being a 'must have'

Key Responsibilities

• Build and implement Azure cloud environments from HLD designs.
• Implement and support Azure API Management (APIM) solutions.
• Use Terraform / IAC to build and automate environments.
• Install and assist with the installation of applications/services and automate deployments.
• Promote releases across environments through to production.
• Ensure solutions adhere to required technical standards and patterns.
• Work with Architects and stakeholders to refine technical stories through to Definition of Ready.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation and project artefacts.
• Clearly communicate technical solutions and work collaboratively with wider teams.

Required Skills & Experience

• Excellent knowledge of Azure cloud-based solutions from an infrastructure perspective.
• Previous implementation experience with Azure APIM.
• Strong working knowledge of DevOps principles and Infrastructure as Code, particularly Terraform.
• Experience building Azure environments based on HLD designs.
• Knowledge of Microsoft technologies, including Windows Server and Active Directory.
• Experience installing, implementing and automating applications/services.
• Experience promoting releases through development, test and production environments.
• Strong technical design, documentation and communication skills.
• Proactive, positive team player who can work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
