Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Business Development Representative role based in London. The Business Development Representative will identify and qualify new business opportunities through outbound prospecting, inbound lead follow-up, and targeted outreach to ecommerce brands. This role will conduct discovery calls, understand prospect needs, and clearly position ShipBob’s fulfillment and technology solutions. The Business Development Representative will manage a pipeline in the CRM, schedule and hand off qualified meetings to Account Executives, and collaborate closely with sales and marketing teams. Daily activities include researching target accounts, crafting personalized outreach, tracking performance metrics, and continuously refining messaging based on market feedback.
Qualifications
  • Strong Inside Sales and Sales skills, with experience in managing a pipeline and meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Demonstrated ability in Lead Generation and Business Development, including prospecting, qualification, and opportunity creation.
  • Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage decision-makers and clearly explain complex solutions.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, metric-driven environment with proficiency in CRM and sales engagement tools.
  • Prior experience in SaaS, ecommerce, logistics, or supply chain is beneficial.
  • Proactive, curious, and resilient approach to learning, problem-solving, and handling rejection.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
