Chef (Part-Time) – Join The Chequers Team

The Chequers is seeking a talented and enthusiastic Chef to join our team as we prepare for a busy and exciting summer season.

Hours: Part-time, primarily evenings and weekends.

As part of the Greene King family, you'll be joining a team at the heart of the local community. Our pubs are places where people come together to enjoy great food, quality drinks, and memorable experiences. We pride ourselves on creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere, serving freshly prepared dishes, and delivering excellent hospitality to every guest.

What we're looking for:

• Passion for preparing and serving high-quality food
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Reliability and flexibility, particularly for evening and weekend shifts
• Previous kitchen experience is desirable, but enthusiasm and a positive attitude are equally important

As a Chef, you will…

• Prepare, cook, and present food that meets specs and customer expectations.
• Maintain hygiene levels and safety regulations in the kitchen to help guarantee the safety of your entire team and visitors.
• Communicate clearly with your team in order to provide high-quality meals to customers on time.
