Chief of Staff

London Area, United Kingdom Full-time Posted 1 day ago

Chief of Staff | Private Office

📍 London | Hybrid

💰 £50k–£80k (plus bonus)

Agora Talent is partnering with a highly successful UK-based entrepreneur to hire a brilliant Chief of Staff to become their trusted right hand.

This is a rare opportunity to work incredibly closely with an established entrepreneur with interests spanning business, investments, events and special projects, offering exceptional exposure to an influential network and a huge variety of projects.

This isn’t a traditional, desk-based Chief of Staff role.

We’re looking for someone who genuinely enjoys being in the thick of things — attending meetings, meeting interesting people, keeping multiple priorities moving, assessing new opportunities and making sure ideas actually turn into action.

A significant part of the role will also involve events, and relationship management, helping bring together exceptional people and deliver high-profile gatherings.

What you'll be doing

Working closely with the Principal, you’ll:

  • Act as a trusted sounding board and day-to-day right hand
  • Attend key meetings, capture actions and drive follow-through
  • Help manage and prioritise an extremely busy and constantly evolving agenda
  • Filter incoming opportunities, introductions and requests
  • Research businesses, people, sectors and new ideas
  • Support the delivery of high-profile events and gatherings
  • Help curate guest lists and coordinate speakers and attendees
  • Build and nurture relationships across an exceptional network
  • Prepare briefings, presentations and written materials
  • Take new ideas and special projects from concept through to execution
  • Work alongside wider support teams to ensure priorities keep moving

What we are looking for

We’re looking for someone with around 3–6 years’ experience who combines strong intellectual horsepower with exceptional people skills.

You might currently be working within:

  • Chief of Staff / Founder’s Associate
  • Communications / PR
  • Events
  • Community / Partnerships
  • Investment / Professional Services
  • Strategy / Consulting
  • A fast-growing startup or scale-up

Your exact background is less important than how you operate.

You’ll be:

  • Highly personable, confident and comfortable meeting people at all levels
  • Proactive and naturally inclined to make things happen
  • Exceptionally organised and able to juggle multiple competing priorities
  • An excellent communicator, both written and verbal
  • Intellectually curious with a genuine interest in business, technology and entrepreneurship
  • Comfortable operating with ambiguity and changing priorities
  • High-energy, positive and naturally relationship-driven
  • Low ego and equally happy tackling the big strategic question or sorting the practical detail
  • Someone who genuinely enjoys making another person more effective

This role will suit someone who wants breadth, access and exposure rather than a narrowly defined remit.

You’ll have a front-row seat to an extraordinary variety of businesses, people, events and ideas while developing a fantastic network along the way.

Given the confidential nature of the search, further details will be shared with suitable candidates during the process.
