The Role
Our client are hiring a junior Client Success Manager to join their UK commercial team.
This is a varied role combining client relationship management, onboarding, account ownership, operational coordination and account growth.
You will manage a portfolio of approximately 80 lower-touch SMB accounts, acting as the first point of contact for clients and ensuring requests are managed quickly and effectively.
The role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with clients, is highly organised and wants to develop into a more strategic Key Account Management position over time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of SMB client accounts
- Act as the first point of contact for day-to-day client requests
- Manage the local client inbox and respond to a high volume of enquiries
- Onboard new clients, including training and initial setup
- Build strong relationships with client stakeholders
- Coordinate with Operations, Tech and Product teams to resolve issues
- Track requests and ensure internal teams are delivering to agreed deadlines
- Identify opportunities to grow and expand accounts
- Prioritise higher-potential SMB accounts to maximise portfolio revenue
- Support the Key Account team with larger client relationships
- Monitor client satisfaction, account health and potential churn risks
Clients can include hotels, offices, property owners, residential developments and other commercial property operators.
Typical stakeholders may include hotel general managers and front-of-house teams, office managers, property managers and administrators.
Ideal Background
Experience:
- Around 1–2+ years of experience in a client-facing, commercial or account-management role
- Experience managing client relationships or a high volume of customer enquiries
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Comfortable taking ownership of client issues and coordinating internally
- Some exposure to account growth, upselling or commercial conversations would be beneficial
- Previous experience in SaaS, PropTech or technology is useful but not essential
- Experience using a CRM such as Salesforce would be advantageous
This could suit someone coming from:
- Junior Account Management
- Client Support
- Customer or Client Services
- Sales Executive
- Sales Consultant
- SDR / BDR looking to move into account management
- Property or hospitality-based client-facing roles
Personality is a key requirement:
ParkBee wants someone who is:
- Highly organised
- Commercially minded
- Personable
- Confident communicating with clients
- Proactive
- Comfortable taking ownership
- Able to prioritise effectively
- Detail-oriented
- Ambitious
- Keen to develop into a Key Account Manager
The role involves managing a relatively high volume of lower-touch accounts, so the ability to prioritise what needs attention, manage multiple requests and identify where the biggest commercial opportunities sit is particularly important.
Progression
There is a clear route from Client Success Manager into Key Account Management.
As you progress, you would move away from the higher-volume day-to-day inbox and lower-value accounts and take ownership of larger, higher-value clients with significantly more opportunity for development and growth.
For someone who joins and performs strongly, progression could happen within approximately 6–12 months.
Location: Borough, London
Working Model: Hybrid – 3 days per week in the office
Salary: Up to £44,000 base + bonus
