Clinical Support Worker
Are you a compassionate, motivated and dedicated individual looking to make a meaningful difference in patient care?
We are delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and committed Clinical Support Worker to join our dynamic Short Stay Unit at Sherwood Forest Hospitals.
As a Clinical Support Worker, you will play an essential role in delivering high-quality, compassionate care to our patients. Working as part of a dedicated multidisciplinary team, you will contribute to providing safe, effective and person-centred care to our local community, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
Our 52-bed Short Stay Unit is a busy and fast-paced clinical environment, caring primarily for patients with a length of stay of up to 72 hours. The unit provides comprehensive care for acutely unwell medical patients presenting with a wide range of conditions, offering an excellent opportunity to develop your clinical skills and experience.
We are looking for individuals who are passionate about delivering excellent patient care, work well as part of a team and are able to remain calm and compassionate in a challenging environment. If you are enthusiastic about healthcare and thrive in a rewarding, fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you.
Join us at Sherwood Forest Hospitals and become part of a team committed to delivering exceptional care to our patients and community.
To understand the role in more detail, please refer to the attached job description and person specification.
We are an award-winning NHS Foundation Trust working alongside health and social care colleagues across the county to provide acute and community healthcare services to more than 420,000 people across Mansfield, Ashfield, Newark and Sherwood, and parts of Derbyshire and Lincolnshire.
We put the patient at the heart of everything that we do and it is our aim to make sure that every patient is treated as we would want a member of our own family to be treated. At the same time, we expect our staff to be caring, kind and courteous to each other and to look out for each other. We believe that we are truly a clinically-led organisation.
We are proud that our Trust colleagues have voted us the best acute Trust to work for in the East Midlands for seven years running in the National NHS Staff Survey, while the Care Quality Commission has rated our Trust as ‘outstanding’ for care and our King’s Mill Hospital as the only ‘outstanding’ NHS-run hospital in the East Midlands.
