Cloud-based Software Company - Employment Lawyer

We're working with a global cloud-based software company who require interim support to cover a replacement for an existing contractor.

The lawyer will provide senior employment law expertise during a period that is expected to involve significant employment advisory work, including support on restructuring and redundancy-related projects.

The role will involve acting as a senior member of the employment legal team, advising on a broad range of employment law matters across the UK and Ireland, with exposure to wider EMEA issues where required.

Key responsibilities are expected to include:

• Providing strategic and day-to-day employment law advice to HR and business stakeholders
• Leading and supporting restructuring and redundancy programmes across relevant jurisdictions
• Advising on employee relations matters, including disciplinary, grievance and performance-related issues
• Partnering closely with HR teams on organisational change projects
• Managing employment risk and helping to develop practical commercial solutions
• Supporting cross-border employment law queries across the EMEA region
• Reviewing and advising on employment-related policies, processes and documentation
• Working collaboratively with internal stakeholders and external counsel where required

The ideal candidate will have:

• At least 5 years' PQE
• Extensive employment law expertise within the UK and Ireland
• Demonstrable experience leading or supporting restructuring and redundancy projects
• Previous in-house legal experience in a commercial environment
• The ability to provide pragmatic, business-focused advice to senior stakeholders

Working Pattern: Full time, remote
