About the role
This role will involve both communications and public affairs work.
Responsibilities will include:
- Working closely with other members of the Management Team to ensure that the company achieves its goals.
- Leading the development and execution of communications and public affairs strategies that secure positive outcomes for clients.
- Building strong relationships and regularly communicating with clients.
- Proactively and reactively providing sound advice and counsel to clients on an ongoing basis.
- Project managing client accounts, overseeing the production and delivery of high-quality materials and activity for clients.
- Managing junior colleagues to ensure the highest standard of client servicing, checking team performance against objectives and deliverables.
- Using your network to gather intelligence for clients, determine upcoming opportunities and potential risks, and help secure opportunities / manage risks.
- Playing a leading role alongside the rest of the Management Team with new business efforts, including networking, sourcing and generating leads and opportunities for new work, writing proposals, project managing pitches, and thinking creatively.
- Driving a culture of learning, development and performance across the company.
About you
- Communications and / or public affairs professional
- Extensive experience working at an agency / with clients
- Strong ability to manage multiple accounts, projects, workstreams and people with competing priorities and deadlines
- Strategic thinker
- Understanding of the UK’s media, political and policy landscape
- A strong, relevant network
- Strong verbal and written communications skills
