Due to continued success, our Real Estate Finance partner is seeking the addition of a 2 year + PQE Solicitor to join their high calibre, growing team.
The Role
We are seeking a Real Estate Finance Solicitor with 2 years’+ PQE to join our Partner’s fast-growing team.
This position offers a fully remote working arrangement, allowing you to be based anywhere in the UK.
We are seeking a lawyer with strong real estate finance experience, alongside a solid Commercial Property background, to manage a varied caseload including purchases, sales, and grants of leases.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop into a strong technical lawyer, working alongside a reputable Partner and their team.
The ideal candidate will be proactive in driving transactions forward and will be able to work with minimal supervision.
Essential Experience
- You will be a qualified solicitor in England & Wales with 2+ years’ PQE.
- You will have strong real estate finance experience, including residential and commercial real estate matters, with lending experience being essential.
- Experience drafting and reviewing facility agreements, security documents (including legal charges, debentures and assignments)
- Familiarity with conducting title reviews and reporting on title to lenders.
- Knowledge of Land Registry procedures and registration requirements.
- Understanding of priority of security and enforcement mechanisms
- Experience with development finance, investment finance and refinancing transactions.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for client interaction.
- An interest in business development and forming new relationships.
- The ability to meet the challenges posed by demanding clients and tight deadlines without compromising work quality or service.
- Willingness to collaborate closely with colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a varied caseload of real estate finance and commercial property matters, including purchases, sales, grants of leases, and secured lending transactions.
- Draft and negotiate facility agreements, security documents, certificates of title, lease reports, reports on title and ancillary finance documentation.
- Conduct title reviews and report on title to lenders, advising on any issues affecting security.
- Ensure proactive and efficient management of each case from inception to completion.
- Maintain and develop relationships with new and existing clients, as well as associated professionals, building trust, confidence and reliability.
- Act as a brand ambassador, enhancing the market reputation of the business.
- Exhibit strong communication skills, proactive problem-solving, and creative thinking.
