About ThreatSpike

At ThreatSpike, we believe that every company, no matter its size, should have access to world-class IT. Our mission is to redefine how IT is delivered, making it effortless, effective, and scalable without the usual barriers of budget, expertise, or team size. ThreatSpike has been protecting a vast global customer base for over 14 years, using technology developed in house, coupled with a world class managed service team. In the last year, we have turned our attention to managed IT, an area which many companies still struggle with due to low quality solutions and poor service being provided by the conventional IT service providers.

Following Series A funding last year, ThreatSpike is growing fast. This is a rare opportunity to join at a pivotal moment. We look for high-potential individuals who want to push themselves, take ownership, and make a real impact. If you're ambitious, thrive in fast-moving environments, and want to be part of a company where your work directly fuels growth, this is the place for you.

The Opportunity

This is an exciting hire into the finance function below the Head of Finance, who joined last year as the company's first dedicated finance professional following the fundraise. With international entities now operating across the UK, US, China, UAE, France and Singapore, the business requires a technically strong finance professional to help build scalable foundations as ThreatSpike enters its next phase of growth. This is a broad, hands-on role offering a first-mover advantage in a scaling cybersecurity business with genuine global reach. The successful candidate will work closely with the Head of Finance, gaining exposure to international operations, statutory reporting, technical accounting and the exciting world of high-growth tech from day one.

Key Responsibilities

Statutory Reporting & Technical Accounting

• Preparation and ownership of statutory accounts for UK and international entities

• Ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards (UK GAAP / IFRS) across all entities

• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of relevant accounting standards and advising internally on their application

International Entities Support

• Supporting local advisors and accountants for international subsidiaries across the US, China, UAE, France and Singapore

• Monitor and manage all tax compliance deadlines, ensuring timely and accurate filings across relevant jurisdictions.

• Coordinating with in-country advisors to ensure local compliance requirements (tax, statutory filings, payroll) are met on a timely basis

• Helping to streamline and document processes for international entity management as the group

continues to scale

Bookkeeping & Financial Operations

• Oversee and review the accuracy of day-to-day bookkeeping across the group, ensuring ledgers are clean, complete and up to date

• Review and approve invoices, supplier payments and employee expenses processed by the finance assistant

• Supervise bank reconciliations and lead the month-end close process, including preparation and posting of journals

Ad Hoc & Project Support

• Supporting the Head of Finance with ad hoc financial analysis, investor reporting and business partnering as the company scales

• Helping to implement and improve finance systems, processes and controls appropriate for a high-growth environment

• Taking on additional responsibilities as the finance function grows and evolves

About You

Essential

• Newly qualified ACA (Big 4 or mid-tier audit background strongly preferred)

• Strong technical accounting knowledge with a solid grounding in UK GAAP and/or IFRS

• Experience of preparing or auditing statutory accounts

• Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to work

• Comfortable operating in ambiguity and building processes from scratch in a fast-moving environment

• A genuine desire to move into industry and join a scaling, entrepreneurial business

• Hands-on mindset — willing to roll up your sleeves and get involved at every level

Desirable

• Some exposure to international accounting or multi-entity group structures

• Familiarity with cloud-based accounting software (e.g. Xero, QuickBooks or similar)

• An interest in or passion for the technology / cybersecurity sector

• Advanced Excel proficiency, with a strong interest in data automation and process improvement

Why Join ThreatSpike?
