Job summary Join Our Community Learning Disability Nursing Team in Salford Are you a passionate and motivated Registered Learning Disability Nurse looking to make a real difference in people's lives? We have an exciting opportunity to join the Salford Community Learning Disability Service, supporting adults with learning disabilities to achieve the best possible health outcomes and live fulfilling, independent lives. We are seeking either a Band 5 Learning Disability Nurse eager to develop into a Band 6 role within 12 months, or an experienced Band 6 Learning Disability Nurse ready to bring their expertise to our dynamic and dedicated team. Working within a multidisciplinary service, you will play a key role in promoting health, wellbeing and independence for people with learning disabilities and their carers. You'll work collaboratively with a wide range of professionals, ensuring individuals receive high-quality, person-centred care tailored to their needs. Working closely with colleagues across health and social care, you'll build strong relationships with individuals, families and carers, ensuring care is coordinated, holistic and tailored to each person's goals and aspirations. Through effective communication and the use of accessible tools and approaches, you'll champion person-centred practice and empower individuals to have a voice in their care. You will have the opportunity to work across a variety of community settings, completing high-quality, holistic assessments and supporting individuals to access the right care at the right time. While working independently, you'll receive ongoing guidance, supervision and support from experienced senior staff, helping you grow in confidence and develop your professional skills.
