Consultant Psychiatrist in Forensic Psychiatry
Job summary
The postholder will be providing care to those from the borough of Bedfordshire and Luton. Bedfordshire and is an economically and ethnically diverse borough. The successful candidate will work with a community that is vibrant and perpetually changing. The Consultant Psychiatrist will be a key member of the specialist forensic mental health service supporting people across Bedfordshire and Luton. The post is clinically situated within the Forensic Directorate, providing access to specialist forensic clinical leadership, expertise and governance, while being operationally aligned with Bedfordshire and Luton Mental Health & Wellbeing Services.

MB BS or equivalent medical qualification. MRCPsych or equivalent approved by the Royal College of Psychiatrists.

Fully registered with the GMC with a licence to practise at the time of appointment.
