This permanent post will expand our consultant body to 13Radiologists (14 pending recruitment to our Consultant Radiologist with interest in MSK Radiology vacancy), reflecting our commitment to strengthening and investing in our Imaging services. Within our lung and cardiac specialties, this role will help grow our dedicated teams--bringing the lung radiology team to 2 consultants and cardiac-trained radiologists to 2 substantive consultants--ensuring robust expertise and excellent continuity of care for our patients. Main duties of the job In this role, you will contribute your expertise across the full spectrum ofdiagnostic and interventional chest radiology. You will be expected toprovide high-quality reporting and intervention across modalities,including: Plain Film, Ultrasound, CT and MRI CT-guided biopsy and related chest interventional procedures Additional subspecialty reporting skills or interventional capabilitieswould be highly advantageous and are welcomed within our expandingservice. As a key member of the department, you will also provide generalradiology support, including participation in on-call and acute imagingwork to ensure continuity of care for our patients.
