We are looking for a Data Specialist to be part of the Data Management team
The primary focus of the role is to take full ownership of the operation of Data Management processes and to be responsible for the timely and accurate setup of all data required for a specific client instruction.
The Data Specialist will be the first point of contact both internally and for our external business partners on data related issues, and as such, act as data specialist promoting data quality and efficient data practices across our business.

We are looking for a Data Specialist to be part of the Data Management team

What This Job Involves
- Review and analyse tenancy documents using expert lease knowledge.
- Share expert knowledge with the team to improve efficiency and facilitate development.
- Review abstraction input from other team members to ensure data quality and integrity of the dataset.
- Ensure the accurate transfer of the lease data into the management database and within the timeframe service level agreement within KPI ensuring JLL best practices.
- Ensure all requests for data setup or amendment are processed in accordance with JLL best practice processes and timeframe.
- Ensure the accurate transfer of funds, Properties, Units and Lease records in the management database.
- Take ownership and manage Client, property, and lease data migration for transitions.
- Conduct regular data reconciliations between systems. Investigate discrepancies and manage to resolution.
- Provide support in reporting and control of critical event management.
- Act as main point of contact for any queries related to data maintenance and setup.
- Assist in gathering information as part of internal and external audit.
- Organise, lead and complete ad-hoc data quality audits and reconciliation exercises.
- Participate in the development of adequate data management processes across our various teams. Make recommendations to develop and improve processes and tools and constantly work towards standardised, streamlined, and efficient operations.
- Manage and facilitate the training and development of other colleagues as needed.
- Participate in various project work as requested.
- Complete any other duties necessary to effectively ensure data quality across the instruction.

- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Able to work under pressure and to strict deadlines
- Adaptable
- Expert knowledge of legal lease documentation
- Knowledge of Data Assurance principles
- Strong IT skills, including a good knowledge of MS excel including formulas such as 'V-Lookup', ‘X-Lookup’, conditional formatting and creating pivot tables.
- Strong Communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Previous experience working within a data management environment.
- Knowledge of property management accounting system; Yardi Voyager, MRI Horizon.
