As Depot Manager at the Luton depot, you'll be responsible for leading a successful local depot operation, delivering outstanding customer service while driving operational performance, profitability and growth.

This is a visible, hands-on leadership role where you'll be right in the thick of the action. You'll build strong customer relationships, lead from the front and create a culture where every colleague keeps the customer at the heart of what we do.

What You'll Be Responsible For

  • Leading a safe, compliant and customer-focused depot operation.
  • Delivering depot revenue, profitability and operational targets.
  • Driving a customer-first culture throughout the depot team.
  • Building strong relationships with local customers and resolving issues quickly and professionally.
  • Identifying opportunities to grow market share and local business performance.
  • Coaching, developing and motivating colleagues to create a high-performing team.
  • Managing fleet, people and operational resources to meet customer demand.
  • Using performance data and KPIs to drive continuous improvement.
  • Ensuring the depot operates safely and efficiently while delivering excellent customer service.

What You'll Bring

  • Leadership experience within a depot, branch, rental, logistics, transport, engineering or customer-facing operational environment.
  • Experience managing budgets, controlling costs and delivering profitable growth.
  • Strong customer relationship and local business development skills.
  • A customer-focused, entrepreneurial mindset.
  • The ability to motivate others, create accountability and inspire performance.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • A proactive, hands-on approach and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
