Director – Executive Search | UK Public Sector

An opportunity to build and lead a Search business within an established and growing Public Sector SME.

SATIGO is looking for an experienced Executive Search professional to join our leadership team and take responsibility for growing our Executive Search business.

This is not a traditional recruitment role.

We are looking for someone who wants the opportunity to build something, grow the client base, win assignments, develop the proposition, build a team and become an important part of the wider SATIGO business as we scale.

Over the last five years, SATIGO has developed a strong footprint within the UK Public Sector, with two core service lines:

SoW Delivery – specialist consultants and digital teams delivering defined projects and outcomes.

Executive Search – senior leadership and executive appointments across the Public Sector.

We have recently secured a place on the GCA Executive Search framework covering Grade 6 and SCS1–SCS4 appointments, alongside a wider portfolio of Public Sector frameworks and existing client relationships.

The foundations are there.

We now want someone to come in and grow the Search business.

As Director, you will have the autonomy to develop the practice building senior relationships across the Public Sector, converting our framework access into assignments, developing new clients and delivering high-quality Executive Search mandates.

As the business grows, we want you to build and lead your own team, expand into new areas and play a meaningful role in the future direction of SATIGO.

We are particularly interested in speaking with people who:

• Have a strong background in Executive or Senior Search

• Understand the UK Public Sector and its senior leadership market

• Have relationships they can bring to the table and develop further

• Can originate and win business, rather than purely deliver assignments

• Have the ambition to build and lead a successful Search practice

• Want greater autonomy and ownership than they might have within a traditional search firm

You may currently be a Director, Partner, Principal, Practice Lead or an experienced Search professional who feels ready for the next stage of your career.
