Role: Documentation and Playbook Specialist

Title: Associate/AVP

Location: London, UK

Experience: 3-5 Years

Mode of Work: Onsite

Required skills:

• 3-5 years of experience in technical writing, business documentation, or documentation management, preferably within financial services.
• Strong experience creating and maintaining technical, operational, or governance documentation.
• Experience developing Business Continuity and/or Disaster Recovery playbooks is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of BC/DR documentation structures, recovery procedures, escalation paths, dependencies, and contact trees.
• Experience with AI-assisted drafting and documentation tools.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong document management and version-control skills.
• Ability to review complex information and convert it into clear, structured, and easy-to-follow documentation.
• Excellent written English with strong grammar, formatting, and attention to detail.
• Experience maintaining documentation to consistent quality standards in a high-volume environment.
• Ability to work effectively with SMEs and incorporate technical feedback into final documentation.
• Understanding of Operational Resilience and Business Continuity concepts.
• Ability to manage multiple documentation deliverables and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working within a large financial institution, investment bank, or regulated financial-services organization.
• Experience supporting Operational Resilience, Business Continuity, or Disaster Recovery programmes.
• Knowledge of DORA, PRA, or other financial-services regulatory frameworks.
• Experience preparing regulatory evidence and audit documentation.
• Familiarity with EMEA regulatory requirements.
• Experience with document repositories, collaboration platforms, and enterprise document-management systems.
• Experience using AI tools to accelerate documentation while maintaining SME validation and governance controls.
