EUC Service Desk Engineer

Leatherhead | Full-time | Office-based

Looking for your next step in IT support?

At Bytes, we're looking for an EUC Service Desk Engineer to help deliver a reliable, high-quality technology experience across our business. This role is ideal for someone who has already built a foundation in IT and is ready to broaden their skills, take on more responsibility and gain exposure to a wider range of technologies.

You'll join a supportive team where you'll work directly with colleagues across the business, solve real problems and play a key role in keeping people connected, productive and supported.

The role

As Bytes continues to grow, our internal technology environment needs to grow with it.

You'll be part of the team responsible for deploying and supporting end-user technology, managing devices, resolving technical issues and ensuring colleagues have the tools they need to do their best work. From onboarding new starters to supporting projects and technology rollouts, you'll be involved in work that has a visible impact across the organisation.

What you'll achieve

In this role, you'll:

  • Deliver a seamless support experience for colleagues across the business.
  • Ensure laptops, mobile devices and workplace technology are deployed quickly and efficiently.
  • Help maintain a secure, reliable and well-managed end-user environment.
  • Resolve technical issues with minimal disruption to users.
  • Contribute to device lifecycle management using modern workplace technologies.
  • Support technology projects and business initiatives as Bytes continues to scale.
  • Build trusted relationships by providing excellent customer service and technical support.

What we're looking for

We're interested in people with solid foundations in IT support who are looking to keep learning and developing.

You'll ideally bring:

  • Experience in an IT support, service desk or desktop support environment.
  • Knowledge of hardware support, device deployment and laptop builds.
  • Experience with Microsoft Intune and Windows Autopilot.
  • Good understanding of Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365.
  • Strong communication skills and a customer-first mindset.
  • A proactive approach to problem solving and continuous learning.

Experience gained in any industry is welcome.

Why Bytes?

Bytes is one of the UK's leading technology solutions providers, helping organisations modernise, transform and get more value from their technology investments.

What makes this opportunity different is the breadth of exposure you'll receive. Rather than being limited to repetitive ticket handling, you'll gain hands-on experience across hardware, device management, support, projects and end-user technology. You'll work alongside experienced colleagues, develop new technical skills and have genuine opportunities to grow your career within a business that promotes from within.

You'll be based in our Leatherhead office five days a week, with occasional travel to our other offices.
