Events and Partnerships Associate
About Blissgrowth
Blissgrowth is the UK's #1 AI B2B Venture Studio. We've built 10 companies so far with exceptional second-time founders, including Yieldify (acquired), Reachdesk (Series B at $225m), StackOne (Series A) and Screenloop (acquired), and have been backed by top global investors like Google Ventures, Sequoia, and a16z.
We're now building 10 new AI companies over the next three years. Our events already bring together the best of the ecosystem - previous events have been sponsored by Google, HSBC Innovation Banking, Osborne Clarke, Goodwin, and Carta, with speakers and attendees including the unicorn founders of Paddle, MuleSoft, Bloom & Wild, Starling Bank and many more.
The Role
This is a full-stack community and partnerships role for someone who is naturally social, magnetic with people, and obsessively organised. You'll own the coordination and delivery of our events, build and nurture the community around them, negotiate with partners and sponsors, and help the studio validate new venture ideas by getting in front of the right people.
It sits at the intersection of events, community, partnerships and sales. You're the person who makes the room happen, works the room brilliantly, and turns those connections into real value for the studio.
What You'll Do
Events
- Own the end-to-end coordination and organisation of our events - logistics, timelines, and flawless execution.
- Source and secure incredible speakers, and curate guest lists that make each event genuinely worth attending.
- Find the right people to bring into the room - founders, investors, operators - and make sure the networking is exceptional.
- We will be running about ~20 events a year and ~20 dinners over time.
Community
- Be a serial networker for Blissgrowth - out in the startup community, at events, constantly finding and connecting interesting people.
- Build and own the community that sits around our events, keeping it warm, active and growing.
- Be a magnetic presence that people want to be around - the connective tissue of the ecosystem.
Partnerships
- Negotiate with event sponsors and partners, securing the right deals and building long-term relationships.
- Identify and open doors to new partnership opportunities across the ecosystem.
Sales & Validation
- Act as a BDR across the portfolio - sourcing conversations, opening doors, and supporting early commercial traction.
- Help the studio validate new venture ideas by getting in front of the right buyers and gathering real signal.
- Support light sales and negotiation where needed - you have the natural ability to close.
Who You Are
- You have 2+ years of experience, either in events, or as a BDR / SDR who's also been significantly involved in events.
- You've worked at a startup or VC, and you genuinely love the early stage - the pace, the chaos, the building.
- You're a serial networker with a naturally magnetic, social personality - you build connections effortlessly and people remember you.
- You're exceptionally organised and structured - nothing falls through the cracks on your watch.
- You have natural sales ability and are comfortable with light commercial and negotiation work.
- You understand the business side - you can hold a conversation with a founder or a buyer and add value.
- You have real entrepreneurial flair. This is early-stage and full-stack - you'll need to figure things out and run with them.
- Simply put, you're one of the best people we've come across - exceptional, driven, and made for this.
Why This Role
- Work directly with the founding team with real ownership from day one.
- Be at the centre of one of the UK's best startup ecosystems, surrounded by exceptional founders and investors.
- A role that blends events, community, partnerships and sales - genuinely full-stack, with room to grow into whichever direction you're strongest.
