Finance Manager

Licensed sponsor London Area, United Kingdom Full-time Posted 4 hours ago

Our client is a fast-growing fintech providing treasury and payments infrastructure to the global insurance market. The business is scaling quickly across the UK, Europe and the US, and is now looking for a Finance Manager to help shape how its finance function operates as it grows.

This is a role for someone who wants to improve how finance works, not just keep it running. Alongside ownership of the core reporting cycle, you'll lead the transformation agenda: driving automation, leading finance systems implementation and optimisation projects, and improving integration between finance systems and the wider business so data flows seamlessly. In practice, that means leading month-end and year-end close, preparing consolidated management accounts across multiple entities and currencies, owning balance sheet reconciliations, managing intercompany accounting and settlements across the Group, and supporting statutory reporting and external audits. You'll also make sure transfer pricing is accurately reflected in the numbers, support treasury and cash management where needed, and build reporting dashboards and automated workflows, working closely with Finance, Technology and Operations.

The right person will be a qualified accountant (ACA or ACCA preferred), either an established Finance Manager or a Senior Financial Accountant ready to step up, with experience in a complex, multi-entity business. Strong intercompany, consolidation and multi-currency experience is essential, as is a track record of leading audits and a demonstrable history of implementing finance systems and automating manual processes. Exposure to transfer pricing, regulated environments, finance transformation programmes or system integrations and APIs is highly desirable, and a background in insurance, fintech or financial services would be ideal.

The role is based in central London on a hybrid basis with two days a week in the Blackfriars office, and a salary of £100,000.
